Did you know that in addition to helping women meet basic needs and create community, the Women’s Centre of Calgary and Area also Works for Change? Their ‘Work for Change’ creates opportunities to learn, develop leadership skills, and address critical issues that matter to women.

Their website has a lot of information of past initiatives they have been a part of, an up-to-date calendar with many events you can join, and recordings of past workshops. They also put together a social issues reading list each month!
