Stories of Community Development in Action!

During the late summer and early autumn of 2021 the CDLI Team sought out to interview people who have led community projects, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, we were hoping to showcase and celebrate community development in action to serve as inspiration to others!

To help guide this process, we partnered with City of Calgary Neighbourhoods and the Community Hubs Initiative to capture the stories of people who have received Neighbour Grants to support a community projects! Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing conversations we had with ten groups who have a lot to say about what community development looks like in action!
