We are hiring!
We are very grateful and excited to announce that we’re looking for two new team members to join us this June!
Thanks to the Canada Summer Jobs program, we’re able to hire a youth 18-30 as of the start date (June 6) as our Community Development Communications Officer. This person will be working with us 35 hours a week for eight weeks to help with storytelling, digital communications, and some of our summer gatherings!
The CreateAction program has selected us as one of 19 national placements for a youth 18-30 not in employment, education, or training to join our team as a Community Development Animator. This person will be working with us 37.5 hours a week from June 6 to December 2 for a total of twenty-six weeks, and will also be part of a national mentorship and peer learning program! They will be sharing their arts practice with the community development world, helping to host gatherings and explore social innovation.
To find out more about both positions, visit our careers page. We are accepting applications until May 16, 2022, and will be reviewing them as they arrive. Interviews will be the week of May 16, with decisions being made the week of May 24 to allow for the Monday, June 6 start date.
