Building Community Leadership Skills
Community leadership is organic, and innate in us all, but requires a sense of safety and comfort for people to be able to demonstrate their leadership
Support community, value community - their voice, their willingness to do things
How are we creating communities of care?
Hold space for communities to validate their experience
Ensure equitable access, allow people to opt in and out of many options
Celebrate and capture successes, it helps to get and maintain momentum
Tackling Social Isolation Amidst COVID-19 Risks: risks, strategies, lessons learned so far?
Mental health impacts are really being felt, especially among young kids
