Call for Support: Join CDLI's Mini Summit Working Group
Mini Summit 2024 Working Group
Each year CDLI hosts an online Mini Summit to provide an opportunity for community minded folks to share, connect, inspire and learn. This summit is free of charge and open to anyone to attend.
In order to offer this summit it takes the work of 2-4 people in a working group - let us know if you have about 6-8 hours between now and mid-June to support this opportunity for all community minded folks. Currently there are no working group members.
Previous attendance at Mini Summit NOT required! Find out what Mini Summit 2023 looked like here. Each year a working group of folks like you come together to plan the theme, structure and updates to Mini Summit (implementing the feedback from previous years).
Previous working group members have been:
- new to CDLI and wanting to get to know other network members
- from all over Alberta (and can be from beyond Alberta as well)
- long time CDLI network members who have been wanting to contribute for a while
- students, corporate project management, community development practitioners, municipal employees, social workers and more! Employment in or a formal role within the community sector is not necessary.
The commitment:
- virtual meetings once per month (1-1.5 hours each), time and days determined by the group
- meetings as well as the Mini Summit take place during workday hours
- Mini Summit is held mid-June 2024
- at this time working group time is uncompensated/voluntary
