This workshop is presented by Calgary Alpha House Society in community partnership with carya. The focus will be on:
- Understanding factors that lead to homelessness & addiction;
- Challenging the stigmas associated with homelessness & addiction;
- Learning about philosophies of care including Housing First and Harm Reduction
- Recognizing how & when to navigate interactions with our unhoused neighbours
- Learning about free resources available to community & when to utilize them
