Art for Social Change Network & CIF Reconciliation Society: ReconciliAction through Art

The ASCN: Calgary Hub is thrilled to invite practitioners and enthusiasts to this workshop, which aims to create a space to connect and learn about Art for Social Change in Action.

Join us for an inspiring in-person workshop led by Algonquin metis artist and social entrepreneur Diana Frost. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and express yourself through art. This workshop will include brainstorming and sharing as well as drawing/collage. Things to Know

Parking: Affordable parking is located at TD Core’s Underground Parkade (745 4 St SW, Calgary, AB T2P 4K9). It has free 3-hour parking after 3pm on Weekdays, and a flat rate of $2 for longer. There is free 3-hour parking all day on Weekends, with a $2 flat rate for longer.

Transit: The Alcove is located across from the 3rd Street Station.

Accessibility: There are no steps to enter the Alcove from the main/front door entrance on the corner of 7 Ave & 2nd Street! There are two washrooms. They do not have a step, including both a toilet and sink. However, they aren’t wide enough to be certified wheelchair accessible.

The display cases, music recording studio, and volunteer rooms have stairs to access rooms.
