Mini Summit 2024: Call for submissions

host a session at Mini Summit
Morning of June 12 2024

We are looking for groups, individuals, organizations, practitioners who want to explore or have been exploring the question:
How might we rethink conventional approaches to community development to better address current challenges and opportunities?

What would it mean to host a Mini Summit session?
- Mini Summit sessions are approximately 40-45 minutes long based on the session host’s preference.
- Sessions can be presentations, community conversations, workshops, etc.
- CDLI is exploring hybrid hosting options, however, previously all sessions have been hosted virtually.

Find out more about hosting a session here! Session submissions due before May 13th.

What is Mini Summit?

Last year’s theme was exploring ‘The Next Generation: What’s Emerging in our Communities?’ We had a wide variety of hosted sessions sharing approaches, successes, challenges, favourite tools, and considerations rooted in what’s next…engaging youth, bridging gaps between generations or the next iteration of the nonprofit and community sector!

Recordings of sessions are now up on our Youtube channel and you can read more about Mini Summit 2023 here including videos of the sessions!
