Youth Nominations Close Feb 22nd!

Youth are an important part of our communities, and are often leading the way in making them better places to live!

Did you know that Youth Central has ‘Youth of Distinction’ Awards to “recognize youth in Calgary and let them know they matter”? It’s a great way to recognize and celebrate the youth in your life who are involved in your communities! Nominations are open until Monday, February 22nd, so get your nominations in now!

The Youth of Distinction Awards (YODA) are accepting nominations until February 22, 2021. These awards are a great way to recognize local youth for the value they bring to our community that too often goes unnoticed. ANYONE can nominate 12-18 year old youth in Calgary and surrounding areas for an award. The 9 award categories include community or volunteer work, activism, sportsmanship or even being a good friend. During the past 17 years, over 2000 youth have been proudly nominated for YODA.
