CDLI is excited to offer selective workshops throughout the course of 2024! These workshops are for community-minded individuals and groups to learn more about community development. Are you interested in learning about Community Development? In this workshop connect with community-minded folks, you will be introduced to the community building framework and principles, discuss shared leadership models, understand your 'why' for community and learn from each others community-based practices!
In this interactive neighbourhood based workshop we're exploring Asset-Based Community Development, Asset-Mapping and the complex nature of community development through the lens of the neighbourhood of East Village. We'll convene at the Library and then make our way around the neighbourhood.
Building community is not always easy, it often times means navigating conflict, assumptions, systems and how community members get and stay involved. Discover how to build and sustain these relationships, while creating meaningful actions!
