We’ve got some exciting news - the CDLI team is expanding!

We currently have two temporary contract positions that we are hiring for. We are excited to share that both of these roles are held in partnership with the Calgary Indigenous Sharing Network to support their communication needs too!

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORKER - 35 HOURS/WEEK FOR 8 WEEKS

This temporary summer position provides the opportunity to work CDLI. We are looking for someone who can help activate our digital platforms to engage and connect Calgarians through stories of community. This person will be helping with a summer-long project to convene small conversations about the future Calgarians envision. They will also be supporting our Anti-Racism & Decolonization Learning and Action Team through some small projects and through a partnership with the coalition Calgary Indigenous Sharing Network (CISN) to help with some of their communications.

This position is a part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program under which financial assistance has been provided to carya to encourage carya to hire youth to help them acquire employment or career related skills.  Under this program, a youth is defined as between the ages of 15 and 30 (inclusive) at the start of employment.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIGITAL NETWORK WEAVER - COMMUNICATIONS - 10 HOURS/WEEK FOR 30 WEEKS

CDLI and the Calgary Indigenous Sharing Network are looking for a passionate and creative person to join our small teams on a temporary contract to help us share and connect with the wider community through our digital platforms!
