Research Opportunity - Increasing Access to Palliative Care for Advanced Cancer Patients from Racialized Communities of African and Latin American Descent

The University of Alberta is looking for patients with lived experience with cancer or family members or friend to help inform a project on increasing access to palliative care for racialized communities of African and Latin American Descent.

Dr. Salas is hoping to meet with any interested partners sometime in the next two weeks for 1-2 hours online (over zoom) to go over her project plan and receive any feedback.  The partners would be compensated for their time ($25/hr). If the project is funded, there is opportunity to continue to be involved through joining a patient and community advisory council and/or participating in interviews if that is of interest.
