Diversecities will be hosting in collaboration with Pixel Park. “Crafts & Games at Pixel Park” will take place on April 13, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. The event is intended to help promote interest and awareness in Asian culture, encourage more meaningful dialogue and engagement between communities, and promote cultural sensitivity and learning. Pixel Park is a video game themed outdoor park located in Calgary’s Culture & Entertainment District (314 12 Avenue SE).

The activity line-up includes: DIY craft workshop (3D paper fish made from red envelopes), static displays 3D origami animals, Asian table top games corner, and a Chinese shuttlecock kicking mini competition.

Diversecities would love to have diverse communities, including youth, newcomers, and other groups, to join our event. Activities are open to all ages.
